The Royal Mint approached Nimbletank to use their product design expertise to launch native iOS and Android apps. The aim was to give users frictionless access to their new Digital Gold, Silver, and Platinum offering—alongside their existing online retail for physical metals.
After early consultations, The Royal Mint gave me the freedom to develop a sub-brand—“Bullion”—that built on their existing identity while moving beyond some of its dated constraints. The work sadly never made it to market and remained under wraps for years. But I share it here as a strong example of the branding work I delivered as the sole visual creative on the account.
The design focused on bringing the essence of precious metals to life through a digital interface—combined with the touch of class you’d expect from the world’s leading mint.
