2019-2021 Lead Designer In-house

Invited by the team I’d previously worked with at Thomson Reuters, I joined to lead the design of the BT Business design system. However, my arrival coincided with the launch of BT's new branding, which meant the business needed to move quickly. My role shifted into design ops and art direction, leading an in-house team of around 20 designers to update BT Business’s digital estate in line with the new brand.

Over time, this evolved into designing and executing a new digital design language for BT Business—starting with small enhancements to the existing system and eventually developing an entirely new language, which I delivered just before my departure for Laka. That new language was later integrated into the design system and rolled out across BT Business’s digital estate, including both public-facing and closed-door platforms.
